Château de Valmer - Wines & gardens Certificate of Excellence 2024

Caves Ouvertes - Christmas Market 2023 - 25 and 26 November 2023

A must-see weekend to discover the Château de Valmer wine estate!

Discover the troglodytic cellars dating back to the 16th century and the wine storehouses, which are usually closed to the public, accompanied by Jean de Saint Venant, a passionate winegrower.

Lovers of local produce and crafts will be able to take advantage of the Spring Market, which brings together local producers happy to share their expertise.

Guided tours will be given personally by the owner, Jean de Saint Venant, who today represents the 5th generation of enthusiasts who have worked the Valmer vineyards since the 19th century to produce exceptional wines.

What's more, the competition for the longest gourd - Lagenaria siceraria - is back at Château de Valmer for its eighth edition! Anyone who bought gourd plants at the Bons Plan(t)s on 22 and 23 April and at our open cellars on 7 and 8 May are invited to bring their produce. There are lots of prizes to be won for those who manage to grow the longest plants!
