European Heritage Days 2023 - Living heritage
Join us at Château de Valmer for the 40th European Heritage Days on the theme of "Living Heritage"!
It's a theme that lends itself particularly well to the Château de Valmer, with its 5 hectares of gardens awarded the 'Remarkable Garden' label, its one-hectare conservatory kitchen garden, its 60 hectares of historic parkland and its 35 hectares of vineyards, whose faces and colours change with the seasons.
A living heritage of historical and natural biodiversity, where you can spend a timeless moment with a host of special events.
ON THE PROGRAMME ALL WEEKEND :
- Self-guided tour of the five hectares of gardens awarded the "Jardin Remarquable" label, the 16th-century troglodytic chapel and the historic park - Tasting of château wines offered at the end of the tour
- "Garden Game - Riddles, coded messages, an investigation... a life-size game in the gardens. A family trail to discover the estate in a different way. For children aged 7 and over. New edition in 2023!
- Entertainment throughout the weekend.
Practical information:
- Saturday 16 and Sunday 17 September from 2pm to 7pm at Château de Valmer
- Reduced rate for all: €10 and free for under-18s
- Garden Game for children aged 7 and over: €5/booklet
