On Saturday 27th and Sunday 28th April, come and stroll around the Château de Valmer for this weekend devoted to the world of the garden.
Gardeners, craftspeople and local producers will be on hand to celebrate nature in all its forms.
Visits, meetings, market, food and drink, a Garden Game, wine tasting at the Château de Valmer, sales of gourd plants for the longest gourd competition in November... you're sure to find what you're looking for during this exceptional weekend at the Château de Valmer!
On the programme:
- Saturday at 3.30pm - Lecture i,n "L'eau vivrière et l'eau décorative dans les jardins" by Michèle Quentin, garden historian and representative of the Association des Parcs et Jardins en région Centre-Val de Loire (APJRC).
- All weekend long: Garden Game for children aged 7 and over - Self-guided tour of the five hectares of gardens designated as 'Remarkable Gardens', the 16th-century troglodytic chapel and the historic park - Château wine tasting
- Plant and craft market on the theme of gardens and nature
- Catering on site
- Demonstrations and workshops on stands offered by exhibitors.
